Soft tissue profile prediction

Left: To enable to generate a predicted photo, a digital profile photo of the patient is used in which the soft tissue profile is detected more or less automatically.

Right: Using a model for soft tissue movements, a predicted soft tissue profile line is automatically presented during planned movement of teeth and hard tissue segments. The model states how markers on the facial profile is moving (sagitally and vertically), related to the implicit movement of hard tissue markers.

Please note that these two image examples are not from the same patient.

A predicted photo can then be generated from the profile photo, based on the planned movements in the treatment plan.
